Golf fitness isn’t about looking like a bodybuilder or the best player on Tour. It’s about being fit to play the game at an individual’s highest level and doing so without causing injury. It’s about understanding how a body’s limitations can influence the golf swing and how to address those limitations through the proper channels; whether it’s through swing instruction, physical rehabilitation or strength and conditioning exercise. It’s about understanding the latest technology and how that technology can be implemented to increase performance.
Our staff are Titleist Performance Institute certified; TPI Junior 3 certified and TPI Golf Fitness 2 certified. TPI Junior Certification gives coaches who strive to develop tomorrow’s champions the ability to implement a world-class Long Term Athletic Development program for golf. Golf Fitness Certification helps break the myths of what is important for golfers and what it takes to be fit for golf. Golf presents unique challenges to the body. Golf is a sport that combines an intermittent high-intensity and high skill activity with a history largely void of understanding the benefits of fitness.
Each athlete begins by completing the TPI evaluation and performance testing. The evaluation screen is designed especially for golfers of any age. Results include a full report of findings with explanation of physical strengths and limitations in relation to your golf swing. The performance testing measures vertical power, rotational power, upper and lower body strength, and core power and strength.
"DiNardo Sports' workouts have revolutionized my golf game. This will be my fifth year working with them. Before I began training my lack of strength was inhibiting me from achieving my goal to play at a collegiate level. Now I am committed to a Division 1 school. Mark and Marlene personalize every athlete's training plan to maximize strength and prevent injuries while ensuring peak performance for every event."

The golf fitness classes are designed for less than 12 athletes at a time and last between an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes. Class begins with a dynamic warm-up, core and glue activation exercises, and then each athlete has specific programming designed for him/her. Class concludes with static stretching.
